Story

We're a Family Business which means that even though we're not all related we look after our own as if we were. We were shocked and saddened when a very good friend and colleague was afflicted with a stroke earlier this year. A stroke occurs when the blood supply to part of the brain is cut off and can cause severe long term damage.

We have been inspired by his grit and determination to recover and overcome the effects of this stroke. In tribute to his heroic efforts 20+ members from all departments of the team will be participating in a gruelling Born Survivor event and are preparing to run, climb, haul, leap, slide and crawl through the wet, muddy and muscle sapping 10km course.

Fitting staircases is a physically demanding profession and in addition to this many of the guys are keen sportsman with several accomplished footballers, rugby players and runners among them. For other members of the team the event is going to be more of a daunting challenge and getting ready for the big day feels like a mountain to climb, with regular exercise befitting a military inspired challenge of this scale a long distant memory. But regardless of how taut or wobbly our midriffs are - we're in it together like we always are!

We would love & welcome your support! The team are raising money for the Stroke Association. If you'd like to support our efforts please pledge as much or as little as you wish to a worthwhile cause.
