DGP Teams Up for Race the Sun: Supporting Children’s Health

This June, eight colleagues from DGP – Andrew Jones, Abby Lash, Kelly Buckle, Bernard Geldenhuys, Sam Allchin, Sunil Karki, Marika Smith, and Shaun Welch – will be taking on the Race the Sun Jurassic Coast Off-Road challenge to raise funds for Action Medical Research, a children’s charity that has spent over 70 years funding vital research to fight diseases affecting babies, children, and young people.

Our challenge is no small feat:

🚴‍♂️ Bike 21 miles with breathtaking views of Old Harry Rocks

🥾 Hike 10 miles across the stunning Jurassic Coast clifftops

🛶 Paddle 2 miles across the open waters of Swanage Bay

All of this is in a race against the sun, and we’ll be pushing ourselves to the limit for a cause that truly matters.

By supporting our team, you’ll be helping fund research that can reduce premature birth, support children facing lifelong challenges due to disabilities, and develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.
