Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running the 2011 London Marathon for Petsavers. Although I have been a runner for a while I have never run anything as far as a marathon before! So it will be a real challenge.
Petsavers is the charity arm of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA). They provide funding for vets in practice to study animal diseases with the hope of finding successful treatments and cures.
I became involved with Petsavers after my best friend Shanna (pictured) died of cancer in 2006. She had an inoperable tumour and its due to the work Petsavers does that means pets like her in future will be able to get better treatment and have stronger chances of survival.
