You might think running a marathon is crazy, but I'm running for a great cause - Macmillan Cancer Support. Not only as my Gran battled cancer several times, but she lost her husband to cancer 30 years ago. She went on to fundraise nearly 120,000 pounds for Macmillan, only retiring from fundraising in December (although if you ask me she's still at it!). So I'm running to carry on her legacy as a fundraiser for Macmillan but also for everyone in my life who has been affected by cancer. My motivation is the strength of these people close to me who have survived cancer or are still fighting cancer: you are truly amazing!
