Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page!

I’m going to be doing a year long fundraiser involving running, walking, cycling, swimming, hiking and lots of other things in order to raise money for the charity Surviving Economic Abuse.

I’m a graduate law student studying MA Law and as part of that I research and write a short thesis. As part of my early planning I came across SEA and decided to read a little more about it, I was inspired by the work they are doing to raise awareness, support victims and drive policy change in regards to the economic abuse of women.

I wanted to do something big in order to raise awareness of the issue and the work the charity is doing and raise as much as I can to help towards their amazing work.

I’ll link the charity’s site here for more information on the work they are doing: https://survivingeconomicabuse.org/what-is-economic-abuse/

I’ll also keep this page and my other socials up to date with my progress and plans. I intend to write a bit more about the charity and about why I’m doing this in later posts so stay tuned for those :)

Thanks for your time, for reading (and for your donation) !

Abby :)
