Our Children of the World campaign in Pakistan supports and rescues street children and children from disadvantaged communities such as 'brothel and slum children'.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Alhamdulillah, I’ve been given the chance to raise awareness for a charity project that will InshaAllah help loads of vulnerable children in need. I  will be pushing my endurance limits by trekking up the mountains of the Himalayas. My aim is to reach £3000. 100% of your donations will go towards the project. Zakaat donations are also accepted.

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allah said: ‘Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5073; Muslim, 993.

All the funds raised will go towards the children of the world campaign supporting street children and vulnerable and disadvantaged young people. The Children of the World campaign was launched to combat and champion children’s rights all over the world.

To date the charity has rescued over 2,000 children from the streets of Bangladesh and reunited over 600 with their families. These children have been abandoned by their parents or have been trafficked into the most unspeakable situations including bonded labour and the sex trade.

The emergency shelter hosts over 5,500 children so they can sleep at night without the fear of predators and traffickers.

The school, created and run by the charity, has provided a lifeline for these children and enabled thousands of children in basic literacy, numeracy and citizenship.

The newly launched “Bachon Ki Dunya” project in Karachi, Pakistan, educates these children through innovative informal school settings at various sites of the city with the aim of preparing them to be sent to mainstream schools.

Children of War – Syrian Children

Children as young as 5 and 6 have been exposed to the horrors of war, death and destruction. They have sometimes lost all family members and travelled from Syria to Lebanon with strangers.

The charity has met grandmothers who are now primary carers for children who have lost both parents in the conflict.

Many children are suffering from the psychological effects of what they have witnessed and experienced.

These children are supported through our orphan sponsorship programme which supports their education, clothing, shelter and food. Also included is psycho-social support as part of their treatment and rehabilitation from the deep trauma they have suffered.

Through your support we can help improve the lives of these children further.  Please donate generously.
