Story
2019 is the International Year of the Periodic Table, commemorating 150 years since Mendeleev produced the first true version in a form that is recognisable today. Iconic and present in all chemistry classrooms, it serves to help us understand not only the properties of the elements, but also the underlying atomic structure.
We are knitting the table(s) element by element. 38 stitches by 64 rows per element.
If you want to knit, or bid to buy a completed table, e-mail us at knitfest2019@gmail.com
Otherwise, donate some money here for Cyrenians and the homeless.
