Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As a club, we are fundraising for Brain Tumour Research. In the UK, every two hours, someone is diagnosed with a brain tumour. This adds up to a staggering 16,000 people a year. Brain Tumour Research is an amazing charity which looks into effective treatment options in four centres of research excellence across the UK.

With the help of Aberdeen University Triathlon and Robert Gordon University Swimming and Waterpolo clubs, we hope to reach our target and swim as many lengths as we can in our 4 hour time slot. This is going to be exhausting with each 50m swam being at max effort.

Any donations are greatly appreciated and are going to a great cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
