In June 2022 i had my first seizure. I was taken to hospital but was unfortunately misdiagnosed with Stress induced Psychosis. I was then sectioned for three weeks until I was eventually diagnosed with Autoimmune NMDA Receptor Encephalitis. However I was so debited by the condition I needed treatment in ICU where I was played in a medical induced coma for three and a half weeks. I woke up unable to walk, talk, read or write. with the help of my friends and family I have made a good recovery but still do struggle with everyday things! this is just my new normal. I am now on a mission to raise awareness about my condition and make sure my misdiagnosis does not happen again
