Story
I am doing a charity cycle of over 215 miles to Paris to raise some money for a cause very close to my heart…
Molly Roots is my little cousin, she is a happy, typical three year old, but she has Cerebral Palsy, and while she may be too young to understand the challenges she will face growing up with this condition we are taking every measure possible to help ensure she can live a happy and independent life free of walking aids and wheelchairs.
Which brings us to why we are fundraising, there is a life-changing operation only available in Saint Louis, Missouri (USA) called Selective Dorsal Rizotomy (SDR). For Molly this surgery could mean the difference between life in a wheelchair or being able to walk independently. We are trying to fund raise £50,000 pounds to cover the costs of her surgery, pre and post op physiotherapy and flights and accommodation to the USA. It is a big target but we are hoping over the next few years we can raise enough to get her all the help she needs!
Please donate all you can, Thank you!!!
