As I’m sure most of you are aware of, one year ago Akiva had a choking incident, with him ending up in the Royal Free and St Mary’s ICU. A few times things got very close and we’re very lucky.

Through Hatzalah’s quick response and action, they literally saved his life. 

To mark the Hebrew anniversary we wanted to show hakaras hatov (gratitude) to Hashem and Hatzalah for keeping our little boy around. 

We will be doing a sponsored run with Akiva around Hendon Park (or as much as Akiva can manage, he gets “stitches” quite quickly). 

No pressure but any penny you can give would really help them continue to support the community. 

(PS - another organisation we also wanted to give a shout out to is COSMIC (Children of St Mary’s Intensive Care), which we will b”’n donate to).
