Why London, and why Alzheimer’s Research UK?: Firstly, having the chance to run this iconic race is immensely overwhelming. Secondly, running it in a #TeamARUK shirt, after raising a ton of money for this fantastic research Charity, is an amazing opportunity. Thirdly, doing all this just one year, (and one day), after Dad’s passing, is an experience I couldn’t let pass me by.

It won’t be fast, (due to training in Canadian winter, with no pavement in sight!), and there definitely will be tears along the way, (how do you even snot-rocket in a road race?). But this is a goal race like no other. While I’m running to honour Dad, I'm also running to help make change for future families. So please, join me in helping to put an end to this dreadful disease, and donate what you can.

Just like a marathon, it takes small steps and lots of them 💜
