Story

Hey everyone,

This year I will be running my first half marathon in Edinburgh in memory of my cousin Elin.

Tragically in January my family lost a beautiful kind soul too early at the age of 18 after a collision, it has been a very difficult few months for many people after losing such an outgoing and vibrant person, who was at the centre of many hearts.

Elin was going to study medicine and had a real interest in neglected tropical diseases, and a charity which came close to her heart was Lepra which supports people with Leprosy. There has been a page that has been set up in her memory, and I’m so proud to say that Elin’s page has already raised over £5,500, which is the most money ever raised for the charity on behalf of a cause or person.

I have set up my own just giving page in memory of Elin to help raise even more funds for Lepra and I would be so grateful to anyone who would help me raise some more money in memory of her 💛🌻
