We are Devon’s local sight loss charity, providing practical help and advice to people who are blind or partially sighted, their family and their friends. Devon in Sight is dedicated to helping people navigate their sight loss journey, meaning they can live life to the full!

Story

I am fundraising for Devon In Sight in memory of a good friend Chris who passed away last year. My challenge is to climb to the top of Snowdon blindfolded (obviously with the help of others) and then hopefully get the train back down!!

The reason for doing this challenge blindfolded is, in Chris's latter years he completely lost his sight, so I intend to see things, how Chris would have seen them, in that he wouldn't. I will be doing some practice walks locally to prepare myself and my plan is to fulfil the challenge on Thursday 14th April (subject to any Covid restrictions or inclement weather).

The money raised will be going to a cause that helped Chris and provides support for those with sight loss in Devon.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I really appreciate any support you can offer.
