Story
On Sunday 2 October 2022, I will be completing my first English sea swim for Friends Of Brighton & Hove Hospitals! I love, love, love swimming outdoors so to swim to raise funds for such a fantastic charity is a massive privilege. This will be my second charity swim and due to the low sea temperature (probably around 16 degrees), I am only swimming a mile - I've got to be sensible!
Money is tight for a lot of us right now, so if you are able to and would like to donate to Friends Of Brighton & Hove Hospitals, it will be gratefully received.
A massive thank you for your support!
About Friends Of Brighton & Hove Hospitals
Friends of B & H Hospitals work with local NHS to enhance patient experience by raising money for equipment and services that really do make a difference.
Their flagship project is Small Acts of Friendship - a unique charitable programme of activities created by the Elderly Care Team at the Royal Sussex Country Hospital and the Friends of B & H Hospitals. The programme has been extended to the Respiratory Department which has been at the centre of treating patients for Covid-19. They offer activities such as exercise, relaxation and entertainment to improve recovery and well-being.
Thanks to your generous support, all the money we raise will go straight to helping patients and support the staff treating and caring for patients.
