Story

I’ve been lucky to get a place in the London Landmarks 2021 half marathon on 1 August and feel honoured to be be running on behalf of the League Against Cruel Sports (LACS).

Why?  Because LACS  do incredible work to raise awareness of UK organised dog fighting and also bring those involved to justice.

Until I moved to South Gloucestershire and began volunteering at a local animal rescue, I had absolutely no idea that organised dog fighting was a very real and barbaric crime taking place both in rural areas and our cities.  It is secretive and operates deep underground.

I’m so thankful for the brave LACS professionals who often work in difficult and dangerous situations to find information about what’s going on and who’s involved in order to help reduce this awful crime.

I would be over the moon if you would consider sponsoring me, which ultimately will help support LACS great work to help protect and save animals.

Thank you so much.

We stand on the side of animals and protect them from being harmed or killed in the name of ‘sport’. We manage sanctuaries to protect wildlife, carry out investigations to expose law-breaking and cruelty to animals, and campaign for stronger animal protection laws and penalties.
