Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In November this year I have the privilege of travelling to Nepal for 2 weeks with 7 other colleagues and the charity All Hands. We will be working to help rebuild a school in the Sindhupalchok region which was destroyed by the 2015 earthquakes.
Before I go I hope to raise funds for All Hands to help continue their fantastic work. The trip is separately funded so any donations go straight to All Hands projects. The first weekend in September I will be part of a team kayaking from Wallingford to Windsor over 2 days - 75km, 18 bridges, 16 locks and an overnight camp.
All Hands Volunteers provide disaster relief to countries devastated by natural disasters and usually stay providing aid once the major names have left. All Hands Volunteers are currently working on projects in Nepal and Peru, rebuilding communities and getting kids back to school.
Every penny you donate goes straight to the projects and a little goes a long way.
£2 pays for 10 bricks - 15,000 bricks are needed to build a school
£8 buys 1 sheet of plywood or 1 bag of cement
£30 buys a wheelbarrow to help volunteers clear 30cm of mud from peoples homes after flash floods.
£35 provides 1 day of community training for 'build back safer'
