Story
Hiiiii!!
With characteristically overly optimistic impulse, with maybe a hint of naive delusion, I decided to sign myself up for a wee bit of a challenge.
So on April 17 2011, I will be running the 26.2 miles (42.16 kilometres) of the London Marathon.
I have decided to run for Magpie Dance, a really cool charity that operates in a local theatre in South London. They are an inclusive contemporary dance company for people with learning disabilities, specialising in performance and community dance classes.
I'm only going to do this once so I've set my goal at £5000 pounds, and really want to make a push to get as much money as possible for them!
£5,000 will fund 5 Youth Group spaces for a year for young learning disabled dancers aged between 14 and 25yrs old.
To learn more please visit their website: http://www.magpiedance.org.uk/
Because they're a small charity, and don’t receive any regular core funding, every penny counts,, and you can be certain it will be put to good use! Any donations will directly make a difference to their programme.
So please please sponsor me any amount you can!!
Thank Youuuuuu!!! :)
