We are raising money for Lion Ward, a Paediatric Neurosurgical Ward at Kings. Our daughter Megan received post-operative care there as a newborn, after having her VP shunt placement. She also underwent major epilepsy surgery, a Corpus Callosotomy on 2nd October 2012 which has had amazing results and improved the quality of life for her as well as our whole family. We will be eternally thankful to the neurosurgical team at Kings College Hospital. During numerous admissions to the ward, Megan has received  an outstanding level of care from the team.

We hosted a fundraiser children's disco to mark the first anniversary of the epilespy surgery. Leechpool Primary School have also been very generous in adding to the donations.

Any donations recieved online or off-line will be greatfully received.

Fundraising for this specialist ward at Kings will enable this care to continue for other children who need it, and make an incredible difference to their families too.
