Story

An ambulance based at Honley ambulance station does an average of 54 miles a day helping the public. 

The aim is to match this distance & 1 mile, to 'outrun an ambulance' 

My target will be within 4 weeks, so starting Monday 17th Jan and completed by Sunday 13th Feb ♥️🚑

About the charity

Saving more lives across Yorkshire and The Humber, by enabling EVERYONE to respond to a medical emergency in the appropriate way and by supporting those who deal with such emergencies. With your help we can continue funding: • A Free First Aid Awareness Training Programme – life saving training for those who would not usually have access • Restart a Heart Day – CPR training for secondary school children, 30,000 children trained in 2017 • Community Public Access Defibrillators – life saving equipment installed in partnership with local communities • YAS BASIC Volunteer Doctors – volunteer doctors who give their time to respond to major trauma incidents • Employee health and wellbeing projects – supporting Yorkshire Ambulance Service employees who help save lives everyday
