Story
As everyone knows, I am a huge animal lover and I have had both of my lovely cats from the RSPCA so I am lucky enough to be part of team animal for the London Landmarks half marathon.
Half of a marathon is a really long way! I think it’s going to take me 2.5 hours. Me, running for 2.5 hours!
I am so grateful for everything that the RSPCA did for both of my cats. Milo was a stray and they cared for him and got him back to health ready to come into our lives. When Milo was run over I was devastated and at that point I decided I one day wanted to be able to do something to raise money for the RSPCA. I am finally doing it (hopefully!)
We have since rehomed Dexter who is a constant source of joy in my life (and Alex’s even though he may not even admit it) and he was born, raised and loved by the RSPCA before we took him home.
I am hoping by raising money for the RSPCA that they will be able to look after more animals that are so in need of help. I am doing this in honour of my cats, particularly Milo who helped me feel so settled in my new city, but the RSPCA help so many different animals that you don’t have to be a cat lover 🐱 (although you should be - cats are great!)
