Thank you so much to everyone who has sponsored me for running the Portishead Half Marathon on 20th October 2013. I am pleased to say that I managed to get round in 2 hours 5 mins and 29 secs!

My dear and wonderful friends, Sam and Tony Popham, recently lost their gorgeous 9 week old son, Daniel. Daniel was diagnosed with SMA (spinal muscular atrophy) type 1 at just 4 weeks old. 

I wanted to run in memory of Daniel and to try and raise some money for the Children's Hospice South West. The hospice is an amazing place and has been a tremendous support for Sam, Tony and Daniel's big brother, Alex. 

Daniel sadly passed away at the hospice on 12th August 2013. He was a gorgeous and special little boy and is much missed by everyone who was lucky enough to meet him.

Thank you again for your generosity. I know Sam and Tony will be happy to know that this money haa been raised for the hospice in memory of Daniel.
