On 31st December 2019 OSARCC will turn 40, and we need your help more than ever before. We're asking you to help us raise £40,000 to help sustain and grow our vital services for survivors, as part of our #riseup campaign

Story

We are a local NCS group from Abingdon, NCS is a government funded scheme aimed at encouraging young people to actively engage in the community in a positive way. During our research we found out that only 1.7% of reported sexual assaults cases result in a charge or summons, this horrified us. Therefore we are cycling 1000km and walking 17km as a team over 2 days to represent how small this figure truly is and to raise awareness of this issue in our society.

On 31st December 2019 OSARCC turns 40. We’re helping OSARCC raise £40,000 to help sustain and grow their vital services. Since their launch as a helpline service in 1979 they've grown to providing a large range of free, confidential services to sexual assault survivors across Oxfordshire.

Additionally we would like to say a big thank you Results Gym Abingdon for allowing us to use their exercise bikes!
