Abi's big door to door ride · 25 October 2020

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.

Story

My name is Abigail Wattis and I am 7 years old. On Sunday 25th October 2020 I am going to cycle 35 miles from my front door in Lower Broadheath to the front door of Birmingham Children's Hospital (BCH).

I am raising money for BCH because my brother Oliver received amazing care there following 2 operations in 2019 and 2020 for a spinal tumour.

Please sponsor me so I can raise money for the hospital so they can help more people like my amazing brother.

At Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, we believe there’s always more we can do for our sick kids and that’s why we will always strive to do more for our patients and families. It’s our mission to raise the vital funds needed to make a real difference to all who use our hospital. Your support empowers us to take innovative approaches to treating some of the sickest children in the UK. Your fundraising enables us to make our hospital feel just like home. Your donations are helping us to find new ways to treat and cure childhood diseases.
