We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

I had my dad die of lung cancer when I was 19, my mum was also diagosed with cancer a few years ago a rare type of cancer T-Cell Prolymphocytic Leukemia (T-PLL) after a long battle and the doctors telling us to prepare as they weren't sure she would make it, there was hope as a young girl in her 20's from America who was the best match for my mum. She gave mum the cells to have a stem cell tranplant and my mum is now in remission! She now has to live with graft vs host disease but for now the cancer has gone.

I recently found out our close collegue Gary Morris has been diagnosed with bowel cancer and we are raising money towards cancer research to help the battle.
