We are a small unfunded grassroots charity whose founder has supported the charity using her own savings for the past 18 months. We need your help to support our guests during this pandemic!!! Due to the high risk the COVID-19 virus poses to our very vulnerable guests we have decided to take preventative measures to minimise the risk of infection to our guests, many of whom have weakened and compromised immune systems, by closing our food re-distribution hub until further notice. However in this time of crisis we want to be responsive in a proactive manner and we have put together a plan of action to combat the social-economic effects of COVID-19 which have escalated the already intense issues of food hunger, social isolation and our guests' ability to pay their rent & other household bills. Before we closed we collected the names and numbers of our most vulnerable guests as we knew we would have to come up with a solution to get food to them.
