Attention:
Please ignore the event date -I entered the wrong date and cannot change it. The event was on 29th April 2006, and is therefore now complete.
Thank you to all those who sponsored us... In total we raised over £3,000!Also, thank you and congratulations to all those who abseiled to help raise money for the youth groups in Uttlesford.
------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.
The money raised will be donated to various youth charities and groups in Uttlesford via the Harlow Rotary Club. This event is organised by Peter Wilcock (Chairman of Uttlesford District Council), who is jumping with us, and is one of the many who hates heights!
The youth of today are the adults of tomorrow, which is why they are a worthwhile cause. This money will be used towards organising events and trips for young persons, and also to try and help to open more youth clubs and centres, ensuring there is places for young people to go and socialise.
Throughout the past year Peter Wilcock and his colleagues have been raising money for youth groups in the Uttlesford area. So far we have raised over £8,000 for projects such as The Buffy Bus, The Prince's Trust, Open Door teen counselling service, Saffron Walden Skate Park, Newport Youth Centre, and other youth groups. Please help us raise more by sponsoring us to abseil off of the Harlow Water Tower.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Rotary-IronmanUK Triathlon Charities will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
P.s. If you would like to sponsor us, but would rather pay by cheque, then please e-mail me at EAM_Enterprises@hotmail.com for more information.
Many thanks for your support,
Ed.M and The Team
