<p>Atlantic College (AC) provides a life-changing experience for students aged between 16-18 years old. The International Baccalaureate diploma was started at the college. However, of more importance is the focus on community service and international understanding forged through formation of lifelong friendships made at AC.</p> <p>The ideal that students are accepted from around the world based on merit rather than their personal wealth is central to the progressive nature of the school. Without significant charitable support, providing these essential scholarships is just not possible.</p> <p>In celebration of Atlantic College's 50th birthday, some brave alumni from the class of 1994 and their friends/family have decided to return to the college to run the annual 10k race. Many of us will be running this distance for the first time which is more than a little daunting!
