Academi Wales has the professional objective to develop leadership skills within the Welsh Public Service. But on a personal level so many of us have been coping with dementia related issues within our own families that we wanted to do something to help.

As an organisation Welsh Government has committed to creating a dementia friendly nation and as individuals last year many of us became Dementia Friends to turn our understanding of dementia into something practical. This year we want to raise money to help fund research and provide vital resources for people living with dementia.
