I'm fundraising to support Chickenshed - a charity that uses the performing arts as a vehicle to champion difference and demonstrate the strengths of a more inclusive world. It is very welcoming and accessible to everyone. Chickenshed provides opportunity to students no matter what their abilities are. My sister,Hazal, and I joined chickenshed 7 years ago and have taken part in many christmas shows including Sleeping Beauty:Dream On, The night before christmas, Peter Pan, Twelve days of christmas, Adventure to Oz and Rapunzel. We love Chickensehd because it has had a huge impact on our self-confidence and has so far been a wonderful experience working together in such an inclusive environment. I started my foundation degree in inclusive performance at chickenshed which gave me the opportunity to get a university degree that I wouldn’t have been able to get anywhere else. Therefore, it means a lot to me to give something back to chickenshed.
