It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.

Story

On Tuesday May 16th at 6:30pm, Wednesfield Aces Cycle Speedway club will be hosting a special charity match for youth riders, in memory of Steph Clarke. Donate on this page or Text STUF94 £2 to 70070 - or change the amount to something else of course!

Steph was a Wednesfield local who did so much for her community, and since her passing in late 2016, people have been remembering her in their own acts of kindness and volunteering, under the banner #stuff4steph. In tribute to her work, this event has been organised with all donations going to Birmingham Children's Hospital. Riders as young as four will be taking to the track in a competition race event that hopes to raise funds and also awareness of the great work done by Birmingham Children's Hospital.

You can donate here to support any of the children who will be taking part - feel free to leave their name in a comment when you donate. Alternatively your donation can be in support of the group as a whole, who are always dedicated to the sport and put in hard work at training every week. Thank you for your time and any donations.

Finally, we also invite you to come along, watch the races, and cheer on the children! The event will start at 6.30 pm on Tuesday May 16th at Wednesfield Aces Cycle Speedway club at Ashmore Park.
