A message from Alison, Mark, Andrew and Kevin:
We chose Starfish as our charity, because we wanted to give something to those less fortunate than ourselves. Those who's lives have been turned upside down through no fault of their own, by AIDS/HIV. The Starfish charity focuses on the children effected by AIDS/HIV, because young children are unable to help themselves. The Starfish mission is to bring life, hope and opportunity to children, who are born into a life of little hope and even less opportunity. Through your kind donations you can make a difference to someone who lives in a world very different to your own, where hunger, thirst, disease and suffering is part of their daily lives. Whether you donate or not, these children are still out there, so please don't ignore them...give them hope and opportunities through your donation - you can make a difference to their life.
Starfish uses the donations made by you to provide food, medical and emotional support to running preschool and after-school supervision programmes or training care workers to support these needy children. For more information please go to http://www.starfishcharity.org/projects/projects.asp to see a current list of starfishes projects.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Starfish will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support
Alison, Mark, Andrew and Kevin
