Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are fundraising for the NHS Charities Together, which launched a Covid-19 appeal to acknowledge and support NHS staff and volunteers impacted by Covid-19 across the country. The campaign was put together in liaison with health bodies, NHS Charities Together member charities, and national giving platforms. 

Students and staff from Alban City School in Hertfordshire have come together to write and compose a song for our wonderful key workers. The idea came from Miss Farley, one of the teachers at ACS. "I have been involved in other musical projects outside of school during the first few weeks of lockdown and thought it would be exciting to try and write a school song together. I’m so impressed with how the children rose to the challenge sending in lyrics and melody ideas and how the staff got so enthusiastically involved. They have really captured how grateful we all are for the key workers!" Mrs. Stray, ACS Headteacher commented "I am extremely proud of the Alban City School community who have worked together to write and perform a song to say thank you to all the key workers who are working so hard and so selflessly to look after us all. We are so grateful for everything that you do."

The money raised is funding grants to help NHS charities support NHS staff, volunteers and patients in ways above and beyond what NHS funding can ordinarily provide, including wellbeing packs and costs associated with travel, parking, accommodation and volunteer expenses.
