Story

(view all our photos in the gallery above)

Delighted to confirm we successfully completed the National 3-Peaks Challenge in 24 hours, with some time to spare!  An extremely tough & exhausting, but thoroughly enjoyable experience whilst raising a lot of money for a very deserving charity. Scroll through our photos in the gallery above from our early training days through to us completing the challenge.  Thanks to everyone who has donated, your generosity is very much appreciated.

On Friday 16th June at 5pm a group of colleagues and friends from Advance Construction Group are set to embark on the Three-Peaks Challenge, scaling the tallest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours! Starting at the foot of Ben Nevis, eighteen of us, along with a support team, will climb the Ben first before driving down to Scafell Peak in the Lake District and then completing the challenge when we finish Snowdon in Wales before 5pm on Saturday 17th June. The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3,408 metres (11,181ft).

Training is already underway with a few blisters already picked up! We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for Glasgow’s Children’s Hospital Charity which supports more than 500 children daily and every penny really does matter.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
