Since meeting at a trampolining class in London 5 years ago, Claire and I have become the best of friends, united by a passion for sport, life and dancing the nights away!

But now it's time to hang up the party dresses, pack the heels away and train......and train hard! As we have pledged to raise £10,000 for Plan-UK and in October we shall begin the challenge by running another half a marathon. (In March 2012 we completed our very first and raised £1600 for a disabled childrens charity.) This time... just to make things difficult.... I shall be wearing a Formula 1 drivers suit with the lovely Claire holding my flag....maybe an umbrella if it rains (EEK!)

This is a huge personal challenge, I assure you. Those suits are not made for running in! But hopefully it will inspire you to make a donation. Big or small, we are hugely grateful for everyone who has, and will support us.

Plan Uk's 'Because I Am A Girl' campaign has touched both of our hearts. We are just 2 girls whom feel very blesssed to have all we have, but know how different our lives could have been were we born elsewhere.

Using our love of ACTION and desire to INSPIRE, we want to CHANGE the lives of other girls in some of the worlds poorest countries, Girls to whom education, food, medicine. Even control of their own bodies, will be denied to them...

Because they are girls. 

Just by being here you are already making a difference. A seed has been planted in your heart. If you are not ready to give now, that's OK. Maybe one day, you too will be inspired to take action.
