Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  As many of you know I'm not actually very good at saying no to these types of things and having punished myself last year doing the 10 peak challenge, I thought a 10 mile obstacle course is a great way to follow that up...eep!

We've joined together to raise money for the Royal Berkshire Charity and in particular a new, state-of-the-art ultrasound machine. This is to replace our outdated equipment, and will allow us to make a difference in the diagnosis of disease processes in patient's of all ages. In addition, it will allow us to undertake image-guided procedures such as biopsies in cancer patients, as well as perform therapeutic injections in musculoskeletal disorders such as arthritis. 

Our team from the X-Ray department at the Royal Berkshire Hospital will be running the Tough Mudder London West event on Saturday 2nd May 2015. For those who have never heard of this, it is a 12 mile assault course
