Story

The Struggle Dales is one of the hardest rides in the UK. It takes in the breathtaking but brutal Yorkshire countryside covering 108 miles and over 9,000ft of climbs. It seemed like a good idea 6 months but my how time flies!

Whilst we've been training since the start of the year we can safely say this will be a challenge like no other we've undertaken. This route is more suited to the pro rider and that isn't how we would describe ourselves.

The ride is unrelenting and ranges from 7% inclines to 25% inclines. In a car that would be first gear all the way. On a bike it means standing up for hundreds of feet at a time and fighting through the pain - fun right?! We're hoping to complete the ride in 10-12 hours and we're asking for your support along the way.

We'd be delighted if you would sponsor us in support of Cancer Research UK. By funding research into cancer treatment we can hopefully one day rid ourselves of this disease and improve the lives of cancer patients in the process. All donations are welcome however big or small.

If you happen to find yourself in North Yorkshire on the day please wave and cheer us on. We'll need all the support we can get!
