Story
On the 31st of March, I will be sitting still as my children, Logan and Beatrix, take a pair of clippers to my beard.
That's right it is coming off. I may even shave after.
It's been 5 years since I was last bare faced, Beatrix has never seen me without a beard. Both the kids are excited about doing it.
It is likely that I will be growing it back again immediately after, but for a week or so my face will be visible, I'm not even sure what it looks like.
I've decided that enough people have suggested shaving it over the years that some good could come out of it, so I'm asking you all to donate to the wonderful Thames Hospice. Almost everyone I know has either directly or indirectly had contact with this place. They have helped friends and family of people I know and are an important part of the community.
I hope that we can reach my target for them.
The plan is that the shearing will be broadcast on Facebook live so that anyone who wants to watch can do so.
