Ok people I know its short notice but BeachAbility only just got their JustGiving Charity status today! and the event is this Saturday.
As you probably know if you've read any of my status updates (or over the 8 months I've been training) recently I'm running my first Ultramarathon on Sat 3rd Aug (48 miles/77km). I wanted to raise money for a Charity close to home and with BeachAbility I have that opportunity. BeachAbility provide specialist wheelchairs that allow children and adults with Disabilities (such as Cerebral Palsy, MS and injured serviceman visiting Jersey as part of Holidays for Heroes Charity) to have access to the beautiful beaches of Jersey. I've already used one to take my Son Alex (who has Cerebral Palsy) on a RNLI beach safety day something that would have been extremely difficult with a normal wheelchair. So please share this page as much as possible - feel free to donate anything is appreciated.

Please come along and cheer me on, tell me I'm looking great (even though I'm probably dead on my feet) and generally help keep me motivated for 9+ hours.

These are only estimates - good estimates for first 2 but a lot depends on the conditions on the day - if your friends with me on endomondo.com you can live track me and send me voice messages or text Resh ad she'll let you know where I'm at. Its basically the ITEX route - road to St Catherines from town on the Coastal Road, Cliff paths along the North to L'Etacq then along 5 mile road and back on the Cliff paths around Corbiere, Noirmont before heading back to town from St Aubins.
