Dementia is on the rise. My story is that I have recently lost my Grandfather to this horrible illness. He was always someone who supported my efforts and goals ( no matter how daft). Unfortunately Grandad lost his fight over the Easter Holidays, and passed away at home. 

What better way for me to honour him than to ride my bike across England with a group of friends? None of us are particularly fit, but the motivation to complete this is not only for my grandad but for all those who know, or have known someone who is battling  dementia.
