Loughborough University students are trekking the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains in 2016 for The Children's Society to help children and young people who suffer extreme hardship, abuse and neglect.

Story

At the end of August, myself and and a group of friends from university will be trekking in the high Atlas Mountains of Morocco to raise money for The Children’s Society. I will be flying to Marrakech where temperatures can reach the late 30's. During the hike temperatures will drop significantly and can reach below freezing.

The Children’s Society provide support to children who are affected by; sexual exploitation, mental health issues, neglect and substance misuse. So far they have made an impact on over 1.8 million lives.Donations raised go towards creating an supporting programmes that continue to help these children.
