Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

During the early hours of Monday the 26th of September 2016, Adam, our dearly loved son, and big brother to Hannah and Alice, died in a car crash just outside of Bruton Following a very difficult couple of months, during which he was fighting mounting depression, sadly on his last night, Adam became particularly anxious and agitated.  Confused, upset and impaired, we believe Adam made the devastating decision to drive to Pink Wood, a peaceful spot about three miles from our home.  Adam often used Pink Wood as a haven to think things through and seek a little tranquillityTragically, on his way there Adam lost control of his car and died instantly in a terrible accident.

We are therefore keen to promote the work of SANE’s Black Dog Campaign, which seeks to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, raise awareness of this debilitating condition and encourage people to ask for help early and not to suffer alone.
