We provide specialist care and support to people with life limiting conditions

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in this years Virtual London Marathon and raising money for Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw. Eden Valley Hospice provides the highest standards of specialist care and compassion to local people with life limiting illnesses. Jigsaw Children’s Hospice provides care to children and young adults with life limiting illnesses and offers them a home from home environment when receiving care.

Having worked at Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw since the turn of this year I have seen up close and personal the amazing work that goes into providing this care. Seeing this unbelievable care has inspired me to do a little something in return and I know all the money raised from this marathon will go straight back into supporting the brilliant staff and the care they provide for local people.

I have never completed a marathon before and have only completed one half marathon during lockdown. This will be a massive challenge but having the knowledge that my efforts will help local people will hopefully push me on and allow me to complete the marathon in October.

Please feel free to donate as little or as much as you would like, every penny is so very appreciated and I can assure you will go such a long way.
