I started this page in 2019 in readiness for both Chicago and Barcelona marathons in 2020 - little did we know what was round the corner......! 

Regardless I kept the training up in lockdown and to keep me focused in May of last year I year completed an Abbott World remote marathon running the length of the River Exe in Devon and only 7 days later a 27 mile coastal run courtesy of Endurance Life! 

Sadly we weren't allowed to fly to the States for last years rescheduled Chicago Marathon but touch wood (and assuming baggage handlers aren't on strike!) I fly out on Friday 7th October to take part in this year's race...

Everyone has had a tough time during the pandemic but Charities  more than most so important as many of us do our bit to raise much needed funds. I appreciate the cost of living is on everyone's mind but even if you can donate £5 it all adds up to help in the running of this amazing charity. if nothing else its worth the money to know I am pounding the streets during this heatwave! :-)
