Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the end of 2017, I decided to set myself the challenge of running the sandy 10. I hadn't run in years, and wasn't as fit as I once was so I knew that it wasn't going to be easy. In April 2018, after a lot of training, I completed my first race. From this I have participated in both the Bedford and St Neots half marathons beating my personal best and challenging myself.

It was from this I wanted to raise money for charity and decided to apply for a place on the London marathon 2019. Deafblind Uk is a fantastic cause. They enable individuals, with slight and hearing impediments to live the lives they wish. I have been lucky enough to be given a chance to achieve a dream of mine, by running the 26.2 miles in London, whilst raising £1500 for a brilliant cause.

In 2019, we plan on hosting a disco and have already got some fantastic ideas with some brilliant raffle prizes lined up however before then I appreciate any likes, shares and donations to reach my target.

Thank you!
