Covid has robbed so many of so much. In times of adversity it is important that good people stand up and lend a helping hand. So this is mine. I'm putting my body on the line to help raise funds and awareness for Bowl cancer UK because that's easy, being diagnosed and fighting cancer is not. Bowl cancer UK is an organisation dedicated to the treatment and eventual cure of such a common yet treatable disease. 

So in an attempt to emulate BCUK and their determination I thought 135 miles over 3 days around Anglesey would be a fantastic idea!? I mean how bad can it really be? It's only a marathon and a half, followed by nearly 3 marathons and ending with just over a marathon. Doesnt sound too bad, right? Well either way, it's time to put the work in. 

Total disclosure folks, I am not a naturally gifted runner. I have no mountain goat genes nor was I blessed with snake hips! But if I start and unless my leg falls of or I am carted away by St. John's, then you can almost guarantee I will be finishing. I am really looking forward to the training in between and hopefully you wonderful people who donate will get an insight into my training and race. I'll keep you updated!!
