I think it’s time I shared a little about what’s being going on with my life this last two years and why I suddenly gave up my business and disappeared basically.

 My daughter was born Christmas Eve back in 2018 and due to unforeseen complications was born not breathing and had to be rushed into neonatal where she spent the first month of her life. As a result she has suffered lifelong medical conditions which turned my life upside down practically overnight. The additional care meant I had to close down my business and care for her full time.

The Archie foundation is one of the charities that has supported me and my family for the last two years from neonatal to the sick children’s hospital as well as hundreds of other families who sadly go through similar experiences. I decided this year was the right one to raise what I can in hopes the money goes to help the next family down the line as watching your child become severely unwell is both heartbreaking and scary. 

This summer I plan on walking the west highland way and wild camping along the way. The route is 96 miles and aiming to complete between 5-7 days. 

Also as an added bonus I will be shaving my 2 year old beard on completion of the walk.

People who know me know I'm not the type to ask for anything, but I would be greatly appreciative to anyone who wishes to donate however much or little they can spare to sponsor my walk and raise money for my charity as I personally wouldn't have gotten through the last two years without them.
