The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’ve wanted to run a marathon for a while now so I've finally decided to take the plunge and commit to it.

As many of you will know, my son Bellamy is autistic, so I’m going to be running the marathon for a cause that is very close to my heart. If any money I raise goes to helping someone who’s autistic, or a family of an autistic child, it will be well worth the pain of running 26.2 miles!

I won't be doing this challenge alone. My mate, Chris, and I have been consistently training for the past 15 weeks. We've covered over 450km across Thanet, even running in harsh cold, dark, winter weather conditions. To stay accountable, we're putting it out there that we're both going to complete to finish in under 4 hours.

Thanks in advance for your support.
