On the 31st of January 2014, my mum, Chris Pegler, had an MRI scan that revealed that she had a brain tumour. She had had a seizure not long before this which prompted the scan. Since then, my mum has had the tumour removed, and had to have part of her skull removed to stop infection. Later this year, she will have another operation to have a titanium plate put in place of the missing skull. It has been a really tough year for my family and those around us, with the whole situation being a massive shock to us all. I would really like to raise money to help research so others in this situation are as fortunate as we have been to have my mum alive and active. My best friend Harry has been there for me the whole time, and his support helped get me through a tough time, so it's only right he shaves his head too! Please sponsor generously as we will be very cold at this time of year without any hair! It will take place 2 weeks from today, Saturday 14th February 2015.
