On Christmas Day 2020, I will be cycling 100 miles around Yorkshire in support of IDAS (Independent domestic abuse service)

As we approach Christmas, which is possibly going to be a fairly isolated period for some people, domestic abuse cases are unfortunately likely to rise. I’m raising awareness for all those people affected and those who suffer in silence. 

During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the police recorded 259,324 offences flagged as domestic abuse-related in the period March to June 2020 (ONS 2020).
